Her career in sports began with playing collegiate soccer at TCU prior to pursing a degree in International Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. After studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain, she returned to take a position as an Account Executive in MLS with FC Dallas. Her responsibilities included ticket sales, corporate partnerships and game day operations. After 3 seasons, she moved to Los Angeles to work for AEG, one of the largest sports and entertainment companies in the world.

She managed Corporate Partnerships and Marketing for 7 years before being promoted to Director. She generated over $50 million in revenue for properties including STAPLES Center, Home Depot Center, The O2, Lakers, Clippers, LA Kings, 6 Major League Soccer Teams, Cycling, International Soccer, WTA Tennis, Boxing, and Coachella. Prior to leaving AEG, she negotiated a $25 million dollar jersey sponsorship for the LA Galaxy.

In 2008, she became Vice President at O’Brien Marketing where she negotiated and managed hundreds of media and sponsorships for her clients with The PGA Tour, MLB, NHL, MLS, NFL, America’s Cup Sailing, and music festivals.
